From Humble Beginnings to
La Belle Vie

For us, it’s not about overcomplicating things. It’s about slowing down, enjoying good food, and creating moments that feel intentional. Whether it’s a morning coffee, a lunch with friends, or a celebration, we believe those moments deserve something a little extra.

La Belle Vie began as a small charcuterie concept under the name Boardgasm, built around a passion for creating beautiful, shareable food. As the business grew, the brand evolved into La Belle Vie to better reflect both the experience and the community it serves.

From an incubator kitchen space to our home on Hill Street, each step of the journey has been guided by one goal, to create something beautiful, thoughtful, and worth sharing.

Built on Community

La Belle Vie has grown through the support of our community, serving South Bend, Notre Dame, and the surrounding areas. What began as a small concept has become a trusted part of local gatherings, both everyday and extraordinary.

We’re proud to create food experiences for weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, graduation parties, and holiday celebrations, as well as corporate events, conferences, and Notre Dame tailgates.
